Big Buddha Temple, known in Thai as `Wat Phra Yai` is 15 metres tall. It is Koh Samui`s most popular tourist attraction. It was built in 1972 by the local society to give visitors a place to pay respect to the Lord Buddha. This monument is a striking landmark and is located on the island`s Northern shore, close to the international airport.

All bars and clubs close at 2:00am.

Snake Farm is a one of the most popular attractions with visitors to Koh Samui. It is a show that features snakes, indigenous to Koh Samui, as well as Centipedes and Scorpions. Take your camera because visitors are invited to join in! It is located in Taling Ngam which is just south of Nathon. It is informative and entertaining in typical Thai fashion. Follow the signs seen throughout the island. Show times are 11.00 and 14.00 everyday.

A Fun Adventure Water Obstacle Course is located behind the pine trees that shade the north of Srithanu beach. Here you will find what is known as The Challenge - a course that is very similar to the wipeout course of TV fame. It has a series of rope swings, stepping stones, rolling barrells, monkey bars and of course those big red balls. If you complete the course in a good time you'll make it on to the wipeout leader board wall of fame.

Mae Haad is a relaxed and tranquil long white beach. It is connected by a sandbar to a very small island called Koh Ma. The area is a protected National Marine Park and is also a perfect spot for snorkelling. Although it is very quiet here there are a handful of restaurants and beach bars so you can enjoy a truly enjoyable evening here watching the spectacular sunset on the beach.

Samui Beach Village is located on the beachfront on the south east coast of Koh Samui. The village is on Nahai Beach, one of the many beaches around the island.
